"The Rock n Roll Angels project is the brainchild of Shaun McCrindle, singer-songwriter with Glass Angel, and a former member of the Blue Aeroplanes.

Unlike the post-punk rock music of the other groups, Rock n Roll Angels' songs are rooted in acoustic music and are reflective and spacious. Joining Shaun in this venture is Johnny Westrup, a former singer-songwriter with New Acoustics.

Their songs are given added depth by Ed Burgess on drums and James Anderson on double bass. Expect a mellow, contemplative vibe - somewhere between Nick Drake and John Martin."

"Beautiful lo-fi songs in the vein of Bon Iver and Jeff Buckley but with a distinctly English aesthetic."

"Gently intimate poetry put to softly shimmering music. As you keep listening the depth of the writing begins to pour through. Unpretentious in the most understated way, unassuming perhaps but filled to the brim with depth and meaning, with music that has no more than it needs and words with so much significance." (FolkWords)
